A lighter fresh take on a margarita! Fresh squeezed citrus juice and a splash of seltzer makes this Citrus Margarita Spritzer fresh and lighter, with no added sugars!
Citrus Margarita Spritzer
One of the easiest ways to lighten a cocktail is to turn it into a spritzer. Just add some seltzer or La Croix to your favorite drink, I do this with rose and white wine too. So go ahead, enjoy your margarita (or two) this Cinco de Mayo! Besides this citrus marg, some of my favorite low calorie alcoholic drinks are Basil Cucumber Gin Coolers, or this boozy Watermelon Lime Granita.
To make a simple lime salt for the rim of the glass, grate a little lime zest and combine it with a coarse salt. Then use a lime wedge to wet the rim of the glass, then dip it in the salt. This is completely optional!
